Xact Link for ACT! and MYOB Install & Setup Guide
This document is intended to provide instructions on how to best install and setup the Xact Link for ACT! and MYOB AccountRight Products (XLAM for short).
The Xact Link for ACT! and MYOB is compatible with the following versions of ACT! Pro and ACT! Premium:
- ACT! 12.0 (ACT! 2010)
- ACT! 13.0 (ACT! 2011)
- ACT! 14.0 (ACT! 2012)
- ACT! 15.0 (ACT! 2013)
- ACT! 16.0 (ACT! 2014)
The Xact Link for ACT! and MYOB is not compatible with ACT! Premium for Web.
The Xact Link for ACT! and MYOB is compatible with the following versions of MYOB:
- MYOB AccountRight Premier (12,12.5,19,19.5,19.6,19.7,19.8,19.9)
- MYOB AccountRight Enterprise (6,6.5,19,19.5,19.6,19.7,19.8,19.9)
The Xact Link for ACT! and MYOB is not compatible with the latest AccountRight Live products. Integration to these products will not be possible until MYOB make addon integration available.

The Xact Link for ACT! and MYOB also requires that the ODBC direct drivers to be installed on the machine where your MYOB AccountRight data file and program are installed, these drivers are usually installed by default but if they’re not then you will need to install them manually.
Required Skill set
Anyone attempting to install XLAM should be experienced in ACT! administration and Windows Administration and should have knowledge of:
- MYOB AccountRight administration
- IIS & Client / Server environments
- Windows services administration
