Create a Time & Billing Ticket

You can use the Time & Billing system to create TnB tickets in one of two ways:

Method 1 – Direct Calendar integration

It is possible to integrate Time & Billing with your ACT! calendar so that when you create an activity within the ACT! calendar you get prompted to also create a Time & Billing ticket based on that activity.

Method 2 – Manual entry

You can also create Time & Billing tickets directly from within the contact detail view in ACT!, to do so simply follow the instructions below:

  1. Lookup Customer in ACT
  2. Create a new Time & Billing ticket
  3. Add an activity to the time and billing ticket OR assign an existing activity to the ticket
  4. Update the activity’s details as needed
  5. Add any additional ticket items (e.g. Travel )
  6. When the Activity is complete, mark the ticket as complete.

Note: Marking a ticket as complete will automatically clear the ACT! activity.

Email/Print a Time & Billing Ticket

To email or print a Time & Billing ticket simply click the appropriate button in the Time & Billing ticket details screen, highlight the template you’d like to use and then click on the select button.
