Create a Time & Billing Ticket
You can use the Time & Billing system to create TnB tickets in one of two ways:
Method 1 – Direct Calendar integration
It is possible to integrate Time & Billing with your ACT! calendar so that when you create an activity within the ACT! calendar you get prompted to also create a Time & Billing ticket based on that activity.
Method 2 – Manual entry
You can also create Time & Billing tickets directly from within the contact detail view in ACT!, to do so simply follow the instructions below:
- Lookup Customer in ACT
- Create a new Time & Billing ticket
- Add an activity to the time and billing ticket OR assign an existing activity to the ticket
- Update the activity’s details as needed
- Add any additional ticket items (e.g. Travel )
- When the Activity is complete, mark the ticket as complete.
Note: Marking a ticket as complete will automatically clear the ACT! activity.
Email/Print a Time & Billing Ticket
To email or print a Time & Billing ticket simply click the appropriate button in the Time & Billing ticket details screen, highlight the template you’d like to use and then click on the select button.
